Our Success story

Why Choose FITFAC for DTV Muaythai Visa?

Officially Certified by the Right Thai Authorities for the DTV Visa

FITFAC is officially certified by the two key Thai government Authorities that  Thai embassies commonly rely on when processing DTV applications:

Ministry of Education – certifies FITFAC as a legitimate Muay Thai school

Board of Boxing Sport – certifies FITFAC as a standard Muay Thai camp

Some embassies ask for a Ministry of Education certificate, some ask for a Board of Boxing Sport certificate, and some ask for both.

When you apply through FITFAC, you already have all the necessary certificates to prove that our Muay Thai gym is approved for the DTV visa. You don’t need to worry — if the embassy requests any documentation, we will have it ready.
DTV Visa is not just a side service for us – it’s our specialty.

We’ve supported 600+ DTV applicants so far.
We have experience working with 30+ Thai embassies and consulates worldwide.
Our approval rate is around 97%, with only about 3% rejection.

Each Thai embassy has its own style and preferred documents. From handling hundreds of cases, we understand:
  • which documents typically cause issues,
  • which embassies are stricter, and
  • how to prepare your file so it is strong from the beginning — so you don’t have to wait for additional embassy requests or spend extra days outside Thailand waiting for your DTV visa.

We even operate dtvvisathailand.com and appear on Google Maps as “DTV Visa Thailand” at our office, highlighting our clear focus and specialization in this visa category.

What is FITFAC

The name FITFAC comes from “FIT Factory,” representing our mission to use Muay Thai to improve our members’ physical fitness.

11 Locations, 10+ Years, 5 star reviews

  • Over 10 years in Thailand with 11 locations, 150+ trainers, and thousands of active members.

  • A long-standing, reputable gym — not a temporary or “visa-only” operation.
  • 90% local Thai members, yet very foreigner-friendly; international students train with us daily.

  • Hundreds of 5-star reviews on GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor, and Airbnb Experiences.

  • Travelers praise our classes for being fun, safe, and beginner-friendly.

Modern, Accessible, and Beginner-Friendly

  • Our clean, fully air-conditioned branches operate like modern fitness centers and are conveniently located near BTS and MRT stations. FITFAC Muay Thai is ideal for beginners—95% of our students start with no prior experience—while remaining popular with local Thai trainees. We are fully foreigner-friendly, with English support available throughout the entire training process.

How FITFAC Is Different from Other Muay Thai Gyms

We will compare FITFAC to 3 types of Muay Thai gyms that you might consider for your DTV visa.

FITFAC is one of the best gyms for beginners. With multiple locations across Bangkok, our gyms are easy to reach—within 30 minutes from almost anywhere in the city.

Our training programs are designed specifically for beginners, so age or fitness level is never a concern.

All FITFAC gyms are clean, modern, and fully air-conditioned, providing a safe and comfortable training environment.

If you have just relocated to Thailand, starting Muay Thai in an air-conditioned gym will help you adjust more easily to both the training and the climate. Think of FITFAC as Muay Thai 101—the perfect place to prepare your body safely and effectively from the very beginning.

Who Is (and Isn’t) a Good Fit for a DTV Visa at FITFAC?

You are a good fit if:
  • You meet all the financial requirements to apply for the DTV visa.
  • You plan to actually train Muay Thai at FITFAC during your stay.
  • You want to stay and explore Bangkok during the first year of your DTV visa.
  • You are not extremely fit and prefer to train at a comfortable pace, possibly with a 1-on-1 personal trainer.

You are not a good fit if:
  • You do not meet the financial requirements and are only looking for the cheapest way to stay in Thailand.
(Visa-mill schools may offer cheaper options, but they come with serious long-term risks.)
  • You are already very fit and want to train to become a professional fighter.
(Our training programs are designed mainly for beginners.)
  • You love training in the heat and prefer an outdoor, open-air gym environment.
  • You do not like Bangkok.
(All of our FITFAC locations are in Bangkok.)
  • You love eat, train and sleep at the gym like a real Muaythai Fighter

Factors to consider when choosing the right Soft Power training option

Possible Visa risk

Many foreigners abused the visa system by enrolling in cheap language schools solely to obtain an ED visa. Most of them later worked illegally in Thailand and chose these schools only because of their low-priced visa packages.

Eventually, these language schools were raided by immigration authorities, and all visas issued using documents from these schools were revoked, resulting in mass deportations of 10,000 foreigners.

Obtaining a DTV visa through cheap, unrecognized schools also significantly increases the risk of immigration raids and you might deportation if you are associated with this visa-mill organization.

The DTV is a 5-year visa. Do not risk saving a few thousand baht in exchange for five years of security and the serious consequence of deportation from Thailand.

Based on these risk factors, FITFAC has decided not to issue DTV supporting documents to applicants from China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Cambodia, and all African countries (except South Africa).

This policy is in place to reduce the risk of FITFAC being associated with applicants who may violate visa conditions, which could lead to the revocation of our certification or license. Such a situation would also put all existing DTV visa holders supported by FITFAC at risk of visa cancellation, something we must strictly avoid to protect our students and our organization.

Attendance Requirement for DTV?

1. Training Frequency
How many Muay Thai sessions per week or per month do I need to attend?

At the moment, the immigration police have not set any official attendance requirements for Muay Thai training.
In theory, you may not need to attend any Muay Thai sessions at all, and your visa would still remain valid.

However, please keep in mind that the DTV visa has only recently been introduced, and policies are still evolving.
It is possible that immigration authorities may tighten regulations in the future, including introducing minimum attendance requirements.

If you enroll in a Muay Thai gym or cooking school that does not operate daily, and immigration later imposes attendance checks, you may face difficulties rescheduling your training to match the school’s limited timetable.

Moreover, if your school is located far from where you live in Thailand, you may be required to travel long distances just to attend classes.

At FITFAC, we are open every day and have multiple locations across Bangkok.
If immigration begins checking attendance in the future, training at our gyms will be extremely convenient—similar to visiting a 7-Eleven near your home.

2. Skill Check at Immigration
Do I need to demonstrate Muay Thai skills to an immigration officer when re-entering Thailand?

This may sound funny, but in reality, you should be ready to show proof that you are training Muay Thai.

In the past, when foreigners studied at Thai language schools, immigration officers sometimes checked if students were really studying. In some cases, officers even asked students to sing the Thai national anthem, which is very difficult for non-Thai people. If a student could not show real participation, immigration might refuse entry or send the person back.

For Muay Thai courses, immigration officers may ask for simple proof of training, such as:

  1. Photos of you training in Thailand
  2. Posts on Facebook or Instagram showing your Muay Thai training

The good thing about training at FITFAC is that we provide a student verification system. Immigration can check online that you are an active student. If they call or email us, our team is available from 09:00 to 21:00 to confirm your status.

Your gym membership is also stored in our mobile app, and both our website and app are available 24/7, so you can easily show proof if an immigration officer asks at the airport.

3. Course Expiry & DTV Visa
If my Muay Thai course at FITFAC expires, is my DTV visa still valid?

In theory, your DTV visa remains valid even if your Muay Thai course has expired. However, the final decision to allow entry into Thailand is always made by the immigration officer at the airport, not only based on the visa you hold.

If officers ask about your reason for staying in Thailand and you cannot provide supporting documents—or if they believe your purpose does not match your visa—they have the legal right to deny entry.

So far, among over 600 DTV visa holders who applied through us, many are no longer FITFAC members, and none have experienced problems re-entering Thailand without an active Muay Thai course.
That said, immigration rules can change at any time, and officers may begin requesting Muay Thai documents or proof of workcation/freelance work in the future.

The FITFAC 9-month DTV course, which includes unlimited group classes, helps you stay prepared for possible immigration checks. With this course, you can stay in Thailand for at least one year:

Each DTV entry allows a 180-day stay

A 9-month course remains valid long enough to support one re-entry

This means you can enter Thailand, stay for 180 days, leave and re-enter once, and still have a valid course to show immigration.

For most people, the DTV visa is a one-time opportunity.

If your first DTV application is rejected, future applications become much more difficult, as the Thai embassy will be able to see your previous visa refusal on record.

If you choose the wrong DTV supporting document issuer, you may spend the entire 5-year validity of your DTV visa worrying about whether immigration authorities will inspect the Muay Thai camp or online course you used to apply for your visa.

One wrong decision can lead to constant stress—sleepless nights, ongoing anxiety, and the fear that your visa could be cancelled at any time.

For this reason, choosing the right DTV supporting organization is extremely important. The issuer should be:

  • Long established, with a clear and verifiable business presence
  • Properly licensed and officially recognized
  • Operating with real, active students—not just online courses or inactive locations
  • Not focused on selling cheap, short-term “visa packages”
  • FITFAC offers more than Muay Thai training—we provide peace of mind. With over 10 years of experience, 11 real gym locations, recognition from embassies worldwide, a dedicated DTV support team, a physical consultation office you can visit in person, and a 100% money-back guarantee, FITFAC stands out as a trusted choice.

FITFAC is one of the most reliable DTV supporting document issuers for applicants seeking long-term security.

The DTV visa is a long-term visa and a one-time chance. Do not risk your future by choosing an unstable provider. Place your trust in a supporting organization that is established, credible, and will still be here throughout the full 5-year duration of your DTV visa.
